meet heidi

A bit about me:

I grew up in the SF Bay Area, studied photography at Cal Poly SLO, & after graduating in 2004, moved down to San Diego where I started my business- heidi-o-photo. Since then I’ve met wonderful people and photographed over 100 weddings & many portraits.

I came up with the quirky name from- Heidi (me), photo (what I do) & “o” (it makes it rhyme) = heidi-o-photo. And the name was meant to be,  August ’09 I married my husband Albert Orcino and took his last name, so now I AM Heidi O.

To each wedding I bring a passion for creativity & beauty. I’m there to help your day go smoothly and through a blend of photojournalism (candid moments) & classic style (elegance and romance) I’ll record the special moments of your day. My style is natural, soft and romantic, perfectly suited for outdoorsy semi-formal/casual weddings.

I’m available for weddings & portraits in San Diego or afar. I welcome any events & all weddings, including same-sex marriages.
